The foundation stone of this department was laid in the year 1997 by erstwhile President of India honorable late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma. This department was started with the aim of imparting interdisciplinary skills in Operation Management, Production & Design so that the students can excel in today’s increasingly dynamic and competitive environment. The Department has a computer lab where the students are trained in leading software like Auto CAD, Solid Edge, Ideas, Unigraphics etc.
