You need to think about where you are now, where you want to be and how you are going to get there. If you don't have a specific career in mind, consider:
- The subjects you enjoy
- What your interests are
- What skills you have.
It can be a good idea to talk it over with family and friends, your school careers advisor, or even people who work in the areas you're interested in.

Things I should know
Well friends, (no offence meant, but) cracking the RGPV exams are not tough to crack after all…just a little bit of planning could get you out there with a decent result and flying colors.
- Now first and foremost, DO NOT go for the conventional question banks TO BEGIN WITH. It’s always advisable to study for text books thoroughly.
- Try being attentive in class, and score a decent attendance in the practical labs
- Being sincere in labs is a little difficult but try your best to listen to everything the teacher says.
- Submit your assignments on time.
- Regular studies is obviously the best thing to do. But those who just cannot study all the time, it’s nothing to worry about. You can have reasonable fun throughout the semester, but make sure that you are right there at a quiet nook with your books when its 4 weeks to go for the exams
- Study thoroughly from the text books on your own. DO NOT (even in your dreams) expect that the syllabus would ever be completed in college and then your college notes would suffice
- There are certain subjects in every semester that need no attendance. But if you have ample time to spare, there’s no potential harm in attending those classes. right!
- Never subdue fun
- All the best…DON’T WORRY…have fun…and enjoy the experience called…JEC.

Things I should not do
- NEVER mess with or backchat any teacher. (Even if there are no sessionals in that term, he/she can prove to be a potential threat to your internal marks at later stages.)
- Our library is a rich source of books…only for those who are quick enough to grab them.So don’t be sluggish n lazy in that matter at least.
- Do not follow the herd.Develop your own way of studying.Remember, there is NO conventional way to succeed.
- Don't be a cower, answer confidently - in class and in the sessionals

Exams Mania
- When there are, say, four weeks to go for the exams, get serious and put in a dedicated three-four hours everyday (assumed that you’ve been quite solemn in your labs). DO NOT FORGET TO refer to the “conventional” life-saving question banks before the papers.
Note: The time input varies widely from two hours to six hours, but for an average student, a straightforward 3-4 hours should suffice.
- Jokes apart, take the exams really earnestly and you’ll see why. Try your best not to cheat. Have some substance of your own! (Read between the lines!)
- Lastly, don’t be aghast at the results if they simply don’t look like your own marks. That’s rgpv. But there’s always a scope of improvement. Go for a reval if you are sure. It might just help! But candidly speaking, they aren’t that bad sometimes.
- If you’ve been serious enough during the last month, you are sure to get a decent result.

We must believe in luck. For how else can we explain the success of the those we don’t like?

It matters not whether you lose or win; what matter is whether I lose or win
