Computer Science Department
Keeping in mind the increasing application of computers in almost all areas of human endeavor this institution laid the foundation of Computer Science and Engineering Dept. in 1994. This dept has two big laboratories. In one lab there is one 35 system, one server and four printers. This lab is situated in the administrative block of the college. Second lab is in the electronics dept., which has 60 systems. The teachers of this dept. are highly qualified and experienced. This dept. was started with the intake of 30 students which gradually increased to 90 students in the year 2000. The first batch in computer engineering passed out in the year 1999. Out of 27 students, 11 students were selected in the campus interview.
In the following years the students not only cleared campus interviews but were also selected by Research Institutions. The Principal of this college is making untiring efforts for the progress of this dept. M.O.U. has been signed with Cisco and I.B.M. By this agreement the teachers will receive training in the field of software. Under the expertise and guidance of the staff of I.B.M. the students will take up project work. M.O.U. has also been signed with Sun Micro System which will produce technically qualified manpower with a talent to become the top echelons of the society in future.

Department of computer science & engineering is flourishing with high profile faculty members. Two training programs have been successfully organized by this department under TEQIP Networking activities. Very eminent speakers Prof. P.S. Awadhani A.P. university and engineers and researchers from BSN explored idea on Network Security and Software computing. Faculty members undergone training program organized by TEQIP and CRISP. Many students of this department presented papers in IIT delhi, IIT Bombay, IIITDM BHU, NIIT and AUREOLE. Principle strengths of this department is very good number of placement in companies like TCS, Satyam, WIPRO, Infosys, Syntel, selection in GATE, CAT, JMET, SNAP etc. Recently one faculty member has been awarded PhD by RGPV, Bhopal.
